Sneak peek: Repteelian!
So my first attempt at this mold went horribly wrong (and i'm still scratching my head at just wtf did happen), so this is attempt number two. Repteelian is a mashup of vintage Masters of the Universe and vintage Star Wars. Yeah yeah I know, everyone is doing that at the moment, but you have to understand, that if I like something, Im going to do it. I thought this looked weirdly fun when I started playing around in the bits box so I thought "sod it" and went with it. (The other option would have been a Giger Alien head, which may still happen). So anyhoo, I did a test pull yesterday, and despite a couple of air bubble issues, I'm really pleased how she looks. I painted the eyes in, and I loved the effect. I may hit these up with a super-minimal paint deco (think vintage Star Wars, then halve that) to make her pop a little more than she already does.
Now, the question is, what (if any) packaging should I do for this? I'm going to run a few more pulls first before I worry about that. In the meantime, enjoy the teaser picture.
